December was a month of living the Girl Scout law by helping out and spreading holiday cheer.
Cadette [troop num=40435/] partnered with On My Honor Campus Girl Scouts to volunteer at Nittany Greyhounds. Junior [troop num=40417/] spread holiday cheer to Foxdale Village residents through caroling. Many troops helped at the Junior Woman’s Club’s Elves’ Gift Shop and made ornaments for the Penn State Arboretum’s Winter Celebration and Centre County United Way’s Festival of Trees.
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors from [troop num=41220/], [troop num=40218/], and [troop num=41152/] decorated two trees sponsored by GSHPA and Service Unit 416. Many State College Girl Scouts were among the more than 300 youth from troops and groups who helped Toys for Tots wrap more than 10,000 collected presents in record time.
