Summer Camporee registration is currently open and we have extended the early registration period until May 13th in order to give troops time to recover from Spring Camp and World Thinking Day. Regular registration will still close on May 28.

Remember, girls can choose to participate in “Camp Day” on June 30th, “Badge Day” on July 1st, or the entire weekend.

Volunteers Needed

Camp is an all volunteer run event and we will not be able to make it happen without additional help.  Neither Jodi nor Jeannie will be able to provide the support that they have previously provided and it is not possible for Christine, Megan, and Heather to run a camp for 200 people by themselves while also taking care of their girls.

We are asking for each participating troop to nominate one volunteer to attend 1-2 pre-camp planning meetings and to help facilitate our camp activities. The nominated volunteer must be fully registered and cleared through GSHPA and the troop should be able to meet their ratios without them. This volunteer should NOT be the troop leader and should understand that they will spend parts of the camp away from their troop.

It is our hope that by having dedicated volunteers for specific activities, everyone’s camp experience will be enhanced. This is also your opportunity to help shape our camp into the camp you have always wanted it to be.

We do understand that some troops may only have enough (or not enough) adults to meet their ratios. If you absolutely cannot spare an adult and still meet ratios during camp, please still nominate a volunteer to attend the pre-camp meetings.
