On June 16 a group of 11 Girl Scouts set out from State College on a week long adventure to visit the birth place of our movement – Savannah, Georgia. The girls explored historical monuments, Tybee Island, wildlife centers, and more.
But this adventure did not begin when they left State College. It began over a year ago with planning meetings, interest surveys, and deposits. It was the result of a year of fund raising and the hard work of dedicated leaders and committed girls.
Where will we go next?
