November 22 – Ghost Stories and S’mores
Norman Houser of Bellefonte is the author of several books and the Pennsylvania Rambler blog. He will be at Camp Golden Pond on Friday, November 22, 6-7 PM. Norman will be giving a talk on the haunted stories and spooky mysteries of central Pennsylvania. Following Norman’s talk, we will enjoy s’mores and hot cocoa.
November 23 – First Aid Badge Day for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors
Please join us for a Girl Scout First Aid Badge Day on November 23 from 10am to 5pm. Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts who participate in the full program will earn the badge for their level (badge not provided) as well as get an in depth introduction to basic first aid skills.
November 24 – Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED with Joan
Joan will be teaching Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED on November 24th from 12 – 3PM. This will be a blended learning course offering – you will watch the course videos and read the prep material online on your own time and then meet with Joan for in-person skills instruction and assessment on the course date.
November 22 – 24 – Tent Camping Around Legacy
Groups participating in Ghost Stories and S’mores and First Aid Badge Day are invited to tent camp around Legacy Lodge. Groups who are tenting are responsible for their own supplies, food, and adult supervision. The fire rings around the front of camp along with the bathroom and showers in Legacy will be available for use.
