In February Camp Golden Pond had the pleasure of teaching Brownie and Junior First Aid. Over the next couple of months, we have several more exciting programs scheduled and we hope to see you there!
- Bee Spectacular on March 22
- Girl Scout Junior Drawing Badge on April 5
- Mothers Day Tea and Paint on May 10
Registration is also open for SU 416’s annual Spring and Summer camporees.
In order to keep the camp open, Friends of Golden Pond must succeed at purchasing the property. We currently have just shy of $50,000 allocated towards our down payment, thanks to our generous supporters. In addition to cash contributions towards the down payment, we also need long term commitments towards paying off the loan.
If you believe that our camp should remain a public resource available to all, please complete and return a capital campaign commitment form. If you cannot make a long term commitment, a group of former board members of Hemlock Girl Scout Council will be matching all donations made to Friends of Golden Pond through March 14th, 2020.
Thank you,
Megan Roberts
President, Friends of Golden Pond
