October saw our troops getting back into the swing of things for our new Girl Scout Year. We bridged both virtually and by mail, Brownie Troop 41162 earn their Household Elf Badge with some virtual spider plant planting, Juniors from Troop 40170 climbed a literal mountain, and Cadette Troop 40429 hosted a Ghoul Scout Halloween Bash. Stone Valley Vista
This month, Juniors from Troop 40170 started their Trail Adventure Badge with a trek up to the Stone Valley Vista. This hike is a 5 mile loop with an elevation gain of 970 ft.
Ghoul Scout Halloween Bash
Cadette Troop 40429 put together a fun Halloween festival for younger girls. In addition to having a great time, we collected 67 pounds of food, paper goods and cleaning supplies and $110 in gift cards for Centre County Out of the Cold.

Bridging
Congrats to all our G.I.R.Ls who bridged to a new level this year and welcome to all our new Scouts! This year we got creative and did Virtual Bridging along with Bridging By Mail.
