Our 2022 World Thinking Day is a wrap! We had a fun day at Park Forest Elementary school learning about countries and cultures from across the globe. Many thanks to our leaders for helping the girls make swaps, research fun facts, and create some awesome posters!
While covid kept some of our Girl Scout sisters at home, they were with us in spirit as we learned about South Korea, Lebanon, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Ukraine, India, Italy, Canada, and the Czech Republic. We had 70 girls in attendance from Daisy level up to Seniors/Ambassadors.
The theme this year was “Our World, Our Equal Future: The Environment and Gender Equality.” We took a Girl Scout Tree Promise together and handed out trees for Troops to plant. Check out our WTD pictures!
