Daisies are invited to come spend the day at camp during Spring Camporee! Older girls will show the Daisies around camp, lead them on a fairy hike, and other camp activities.
Girls should pack a bagged lunch, water bottle, and snacks as necessary.
This is a day-only event. Daisies who are attending with an older sibling and staying the night should register for the Spring Camporee with their older sister’s troop.
Troops may optionally stay for Saturday Dinner for an additional $7 per person. Register for dinner here after registering for Daisy Day.
Registration Instructions
Early registration will be open from February 3rd through March 3rd. Regular registration at an increased rate will be open from March 4th through April 3rd, or until camp is full. Registration is not considered complete until full payment is received and a final roster has been submitted.
Final rosters are due April 3rd. Failure to submit a roster by the deadline will result in your troop’s registration being canceled.
To secure the reduced rates for early registration, you must submit a roster and put your payment in the mail before the March 3rd deadline. If, on March 4th, you have not submitted a roster or made payment arrangements your registration will be converted to the regular rates.
Full payment is due (received – not in the mail) April 10th. If a girl has GoDough available and wishes to use it for this event, indicate girl name and amount to apply in comment section of the registration form, withhold this amount from registration fee sent by camp deadline, and have parent contact Customer Care at GSHPA (before payment deadline) with girl name, amount, and the event for which GoDough will be used.
Please indicate any special accommodations or restrictions in the comment section of the registration form.

Troop Registration
Troop leaders should complete the registration form for the entire troop. Troop leaders can submit the registration form multiple times.
Troops must meet ratio requirements (Daisy-level: 2 GSUSA-registered, background-checked, non-related adults [at least 1 female] for the first 6 girls, plus 1 additional GSUSA-registered, background-checked adult for each additional 4 girls). If a troop is combining with another troop to meet ratios, please note the other troop number in the registration comment.
Individual Registration
Girls whose troop is not attending must attend with a parent, who must register and remain at camp throughout the event. If your troop is attending, your troop leader must complete the registration form. All girls must have current registration with GSHPA.

Hello! Can parents who are not registered with GSHPA attend with their daughters? (I would not count them in our ratios). Thanks!
Non-registered parents can attend Daisy Day (register them as an adult and include them when you submit your roster). They cannot supervise anyone else’s kid and will not count for ratios.
Can siblings attend this event?
My question regarding whether or not siblings could attends pertains to Daisy Day only.
I would say, yes, but the way you go about it depends.
If it is a male sibling (under 18 years), you can register him for Daisy Day, at the girl rate and include him on your roster. He must be accompanied by a parent who is also registered for Daisy Day.
If it’s a female sibling, (aged 5 years or less) register her as a girl attending Daisy Day. She must be accompanied by a parent who is also registered for Daisy Day. And include them on your roster. Please note which girl is attending as a sibling on your roster.
If it’s a female sibling (aged 6 or older) she must be registered with GSHPA as a girl scout, and register her for Camporee at the appropriate level for her age. If she joins a Troop by registering with GSHPA she can be supervised by those leaders/adults. If she does not join a Troop by registering with GSHPA, then a parent will have to accompany her. They should register themselves (or let the troop they join know to register them). And submit a roster and payment as appropriate.
If it’s a male sibling over 18 years, then he should be registered as an adult, and included on your roster.
Hopefully, this answers your question, if not, feel free to write Jodi and I directly at gshpa416camp@gmail.com. We can discuss the particulars of your situation.
Jeannie
Thank you! I would assume I need to find out allergy information, etc. although their parents will be there. I’ll let you know if I have any more questions about it but I think you covered it.
To follow up on Jeannie’s response, when filling out your roster, make sure to put the non-registered sibling under the tag-a-long section, not the scout section.
