Calling all Girl Scouts to go on an Outdoor Adventure!
Experience camp in a WILD new way and earn an outdoor-theme badge:
Brownie Letterboxer ~ Junior Geocacher ~ Cadette Night Owl
Seniors and Ambassadors will be contacted by camp coordinators to determine their own program (in advance).
Daisies are welcome to come to camp to experience Girl Scout camaraderie and have a fabulous outdoor adventure. Due to capacity issues, Kindergartner Daisies cannot spend the night. Day-only Daisies are welcome to attend Summer Daisy Day.
First grade Daisies (Daisies bridging to Brownies) are welcome to complete the Brownie camp program.
Troops who are bridging can choose to do the program for the next level up. Please register for the program level you intend to complete.
Additional activities: campfire/smores, gaga ball, lawn games, fishing, swimming at Camp Blue Diamond, archery*, canoeing*, fun with friends!
*Archery and canoeing will depend on the availability of facilitators.
Please note that the Craft House (and traverse wall) and Lower Palmer are currently unavailable. Due to Lower Palmer being closed, camp capacity is reduced. Please register early to ensure your girls have a spot.
Troops who would like to camp in tents should indicate so when registering for camp. There are a limited number of tents available to borrow.
Registration deadline: Sunday, May 14 or when camp reaches capacity.
Meals
Girls should bring a bagged lunch for Friday. Camp volunteers will provide Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner; and Sunday breakfast. The cost of these meals is included in the registration fee. Please indicate any dietary restrictions/allergies when your roster is submitted.
Registration Instructions
Early registration will be open from February 3rd through April 9th Regular registration at an increased rate will be open from April 10th through May 14th, or until camp is full. Registration is not considered complete until full payment is received and a final roster has been submitted.
To secure the reduced rates for early registration, you must submit a roster and full payment (received – not in the mail) before April 19th. If you do not submit a roster or make payment arrangements, your registration will be converted to the regular rates. You will still be able to add participants after your initial submission, but payment and rosters for everyone getting the early rate need to be received before April 19th.
Final rosters are due May 14th. Failure to submit a roster by the deadline will result in your troop’s registration being canceled.
Full payment is due (received – not in the mail) May 21st. If a girl has GoDough available and wishes to use it for this event, indicate girl name and amount to apply in comment section of the registration form, withhold this amount from registration fee sent by camp deadline, and have parent contact Customer Care at GSHPA (before payment deadline) with girl name, amount, and the event for which GoDough will be used.
Please indicate any special accommodations or restrictions in the comment section of the registration form.
Cost
Cost includes the property rentals for both Camp Golden Pond and Blue Diamond and meals. Attendees who elect to not attend the full camp are still responsible for the full camp rate.

If a group comprises more than one level, they must follow the ratio for the youngest girls. All adults must be GSUSA registered and cleared. At least one adult must be female. At least two adults must be non-related.

Individual Registration
Girls whose troop is not attending must attend with a parent (both girl and parent must register for the event; parent must remain at camp with girl). If staying overnight, the parent must be registered with GSUSA and have all clearances on file. If your troop is attending, your troop leader must complete the registration form.
Tagalongs
Tagalongs are minor children who are not registered members of GSHPA. They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, must appear on your roster, and must register for the event. Girls who have completed Kindergarten must become GSHPA members and register at the girl rate (i.e., tagalong applies to boys age 0-17 and girls age 0-pre-K). The fee for Friday Day Only Tagalongs is $15 and for Saturday Day Only Tagalongs is $30.
If your Tagalong wants to attend for both days or stay overnight, you need to contact the event coordinators (camp@statecollegegirlscouts.org) to check availability. They will be charged the full girl rate.
Bridging
Troops who are bridging should register for the program they intend to complete. For example, if you have 3rd grade Brownies who will be entering 4th grade in the Fall and want to complete the Junior Geocacher Badge, register as Juniors.

How do we register as a troop if some will stay overnight and do the Brownie program and some will only stay for Saturday and (I presume) have to do the Daisy program?
You would register the girls staying overnight for the Summer Camporee and the girls doing day only on the Daisy Day. If all your adults are staying for the weekend they will need to be registered for the weekend event. You can make a comment to that effect on the Daisy Day registration and let us know who will be supervising the day-only girls. If you need to submit the roster with no adults, change the type to “Troop Member”.
Hi! The above email address does not work. Is there another?
There was a typo in the link (missing an e in state college). It is camp@statecollegegirlscouts.org or you can use Contact Us.
