Caroling for Cans

We would like to invite you and your Girl Scout to join us for Christmas Caroling for a good cause!  We will be meeting at the Giant at North Atherton at 4:30pm on Thursday, December 21st to sing in half an hour shifts.  Girl Scouts will be standing out-front near the front entrance with signs indicating that shoppers are urged to buy a few extra canned goods to leave with the scouts that will be donated to the State College Food Bank. We encourage our craftier artistic scouts to sign up to provide the signage! Troop 40223 will deliver the collected canned goods to the food bank at the end of this event.

This is not a drop off event. However, scouts/ scout families attending as a troop are welcome to confirm chaperone ratios with their leaders.

Please make sure you/your girl are dressed for the weather. And please wear your Girl Scout vest or sash.  We will be located OUTSIDE of Giant. You may also want to bring a water bottle.

The girls will earn a patch for participation in this event.  Signing up early helps to ensure the proper count of patches are ordered prior to the event.
