Check out the full list of activities and amenities at Camp Conshatawba.
Organized activities might include
- Shooting sports
- Geocaching

- Campfire Program
Troops will need to provide their own food and program supplies.
Lodging will be in lodges and structures – details will be determined once the reservation is made. Troops will share lodging spaces with other troops and will need to coordinate usage of cooking facilities. Troops will NOT need to bring their own tents. We will be utilizing the following units at camp:
- Memory Lodge
- Overlook Lodge
- Boeing Lodge
- Seneca Lodge and Tents
- Shawnee Tents
- Conestoga Cabins
A “Intro to Camporee” meeting will be held in August for troop leaders who need help preparing their troop for camping.
Camp will begin on September 8 at 5PM and end on September 10 at 11AM.
Shooting Sports
Camp Conshatawba offers the following shooting sports:
- Archery (permitted for Brownies+)
- BB/pellet guns (permitted for Brownies+)
- Hatchet throwing (permitted for Cadettes+)
Space at the range is limited and priority will be given to older troops. Please indicate your first and second choice for shooting sports during registration. Shooting sports is contingent on facilitator availability.
Ratios & First Aid
Troops MUST register with enough adults to satisfy GSHPA mandated ratios. If your troop is partnering with another troop to maintain ratios, please indicate this fact when registering.
Troops must additionally provide a first aid certified adult. A training session can be organized – email camp@statecollegegirlscouts.org if you need a first aid certification course.
Registration Instructions
Registration will begin on July 1 and end on August 11, or when camp is full. Registrations will not be considered complete until a roster is submitted to the camp organizers and full payment is received by the service unit. If camp fills, troops who completed the Camporee Interest form will receive priority registration.
Registration fees will be $5 per scout, no charge for adults. If the cost of camp is a hardship for your troop, please contact us. GSHPA SU 416 has Campership money available to help troops camp. Full payment is due by August 18.
ALL attending adults must be registered and cleared Troop Activities Chaperones no later than August 25. Any adult who is not cleared by GSHPA for overnight activities by August 25 will be removed from the roster. If this causes your troop to no longer be in ratio, your entire troop’s reservation will be canceled with no refund.
This event is Troop based registration. We strongly encourage troop leaders to manage the registration for their entire troop. Troop leaders can add or remove participants from their roster at any time during the registration period – you do NOT need to submit your entire registration at once.
