While meetings and school are on hold, State College Girl Scouts will be hosting photo challenges!
Each challenge will have a different theme.
The girl who submits our favorite photo(s) for each challenge will win $25 in State College Girl Scouts Event Credits for her troop! This credit will be usable for any State College Girl Scouts event through October 1, 2021.
Theme
The theme for April is “Life”.
Some ideas are photos of animals – your pets or wildlife that you find in your backyard. Most of our backyards are full of birds, worms, bugs, rabbits, and more. If you can’t get an animal to hold still for a photo, see if you can find evidence of animals such as tracks, etc.
If you are taking photos of wild animals, please use all appropriate cautions.
You can also feel free to interpret “Life” in as broad or creative a way as you want.
Note – photos must NOT include identifiable faces of people.
Since this challenge runs through the end of April, girls can submit up to 5 photographs – one per week. A week runs from Sunday to Saturday.
Rules
- Photo must be taken by a girl member of GSHPA Service Unit 416
- Submission constitutes consent to publish
- Photo must be Girl Scout appropriate
- Each girl member may only submit one photo per week
- Photos must NOT include identifiable faces of people
Please include the girl name and troop number when submitting your photo.
To submit your photo, email your photo to thismonth@statecollegegirlscouts.org.
Include the following information in your submission:
- Girl Name
- Troop Number
- Photo Title
