Join the Service Unit to meet the Founder of the Girl Scouts.  We will be hosting a zoom session with a reenactor who is an expert on Juliette Low, her life and the early years of Girl Scouting.

PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE – due to unexpected events, the time for this event will be Feb 21 at 6PM.

Hear about the origins of the three Girl Scout holidays:  Founder’s Day (Juliette Low’s birthday), the Girl Scout birthday and how we started the Girl Scouts and why it was such a game changer for women and girls, and Thinking Day, including Juliette Low’s involvement with the formation of the WAGGGS, the five world centers, and Juliette Low Word Friendship Fund.

When joining the zoom meeting, please put your troop number and the name of the registered Girl Scout in your connection name. We will be taking attendance and ordering patches for all girl members of GSHPA SU 416 who participate.
